This travel episode is about:

The shoes you need for travelling

Work on the idea that you need 3 – 4 pairs

  • Day shoes
  • Slip on shoe
  • Random third – will depend on what type of travel you are doing

When I travelled japan – my day shoe were TOMS with a waterproof material so I could wear them in the rain

My tips when deciding on the right pairs to take;

Find something that you can walk in comfortably for a long period of time

Good quality, sturdy, breathable and light weight

Wear them in before you go

You can some to send you shoes to you at a later date

You can buy some when you’re out in the world

When I did my round the world trip – I took just 4 pairs
