64: Travel regrets; staying in your comfort zone when travelling

64: Travel regrets; staying in your comfort zone when travelling

July 4, 2019

Travel is about continuously pushing yourself out of your personal comfort zone and becoming the traveller you want to be. Female travellers tend to stop after the first hurdle of booking their trip.

I still push myself now, even after all the travel that I have personally completed.

But I love doing it, it helps me grow as a traveller and I get to experience new things all the time... I'm pushing myself in my upcoming trip by travelling with my boyfriend and his friends (and girlfriends!)...

Listen now to stop this travel regret happening to you!

63: Travel regrets; not keeping a journal as a female traveller

June 27, 2019

Travelling gives you so many memories and stories that you'll want to always remember.

But one of the biggest regrets travellers have, is that they didn't use their travel journal. Or they started writing in it too late and have missed out parts of their travel journey.

Today's episode is inspired by my friend Amy, who took a Gap Year but didn't keep a journal for the entire length of her trip...

Listen to this episode to avoid the same thing happening to you...

60: Myth-busting; You have to be brave to travel as a solo female traveller

60: Myth-busting; You have to be brave to travel as a solo female traveller

June 5, 2019

Being brave and going travelling go hand in hand. BUT you do not need to be 100% brave to go! Not even close to it. All you need is a bit of courage and know the reason why you want to do it.

Having the fear to go travelling is empowering. Just use that fear in the right way and you will live your travel dreams.

May 23, 2019

After my recent trip to Dublin, I came home refreshed, recharged and ready for action...

Then I got an email from a couple who responded to an advert I posted 2 years ago... Yes 2 years ago, about house sitting and dog sitting!

It was one of the most amazing houses I've ever stayed in, and had 360 degree views of the English countryside. It was idyllic and the perfect getaway for a solo female traveller like me!

I wanted to go travelling and not have any regrets at the end of my life.

I wanted to be a story teller and tell people of the experiences that had actually happened to me. I love seeing the excitement that it brings to people. On that note...

48: Travelling somewhere new in my country

February 28, 2019

Don't have the time or finances to go travelling right now? Well, why not be a tourist in your home country? This is exactly what I did as a way of celebrating my birthday this month and taking a well deserved break.

What's been a very hectic and emotional start to 2019, I wanted to go travelling  but didn't want to go on a plane or go too far. So, I decided to travel about 5 hours to an island in the UK (yes we have some islands around the country) and see what travel was like in my home country.

47: What my boyfriend thinks of me travelling

47: What my boyfriend thinks of me travelling

January 24, 2019

Have you ever thought about what your boyfriend or loved ones think about you travelling? Nope me neither.

This episode is a recorded conversation between my boyfriend and I, on what he really thinks about me booking travel and just leaving the country at very short notice.

I've never really considered what my family and close friends think of me just leaving, and only telling them when I've left and I'm in the world.

I'm a solo female traveller who travels the world very freely. But after this honest conversation, I've changed how I approach my travel planning...

If you have a boyfriend or loved one that you're very close too, this may give you an insight into what they're thinking.

This episode was recorded in a noisy cafe, so apologies for all the background noise.
